Samsung Announce their New Exynos 9820 Processor

Samsung announce their New Exynos 9 series Exynos 9820 chipset on Wednesday, which is based on 8nm LPP (Low Power Plus) FinFET technology. This is first chipset from Samsung which has tri-cluster CPU and dedicated NPU (Neural Processing Unit).

The Expect is that the Exynos 9820 chipset comes in market with upcoming Samsung flagship phones Samsung Galaxy S10 and in Samsung  foldable phones. With this chipset is design on consideration of low power consumption.

Samsung Exynos 9 series 9820 processor has 2 Fourth generation Custom CPU, 2 Cortex A75 CPU and 4 Cortex A55 CPU. This processor has 4G LTE integrated pro modem (8x Carrier Aggregation) which support 2Gbps of download speed and 316Mbps of uploading speed.

Compared to old chipsets ARM Cortex A75 CPU 15% and ARM Cortex A55 CPU give 20%  better performance. Than talk about over all performance then chipset provide 40% better performance. With help of this you can shoot video 8K quality.

In Exynos 9820 most special element is given NPU. Which perform with better efficiency of artificial intelligence based task. With this processor has Mali-G76 MP12 GPU which helpful in low power consumption.

The compression of this processor is made with  Huawei Kirin 980 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.
